Delete your Iris account

Iris, the AI journaling companion by Gest Vantage LLC, lets you delete your account and everything in it at any time.

In the app

1. Open Iris and tap Settings.
2. Tap Delete account and confirm.
3. You may be asked to sign in again with Apple or Google to confirm it is you.

Without the app

Email privacy@irisjournal.app from the email address of your Iris account, with the subject “Delete my Iris account”. We may ask you to confirm the request before we delete anything.

What is deleted

• Your account: email, name and sign-in links with Apple or Google
• Your conversations, including transcripts of voice conversations
• Everything Iris remembers about you, and its recaps of past conversations
• Your setup answers and preferences
• Your usage counts

What is kept

• Product analytics events, with your name and email removed, so they no longer identify you
• Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, which they keep under their own policies
• Backups, until they expire on their regular schedule

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play settings, or you may still be charged.
