AI journaling companion

Replaying the day? Talk it through.

Say it out loud or write it down. Iris reflects back what you shared, asks one good question at a time, and remembers what matters, so the thoughts that loop at night finally get somewhere.

Journaling, without the blank page

A voice journal and a writing companion in one. You bring the day; Iris helps you make sense of it.

  1. Step 1

    Say what’s on your mind

Type it, or just talk. Iris listens in real time, out loud, whenever typing feels like too much.

  2. Step 2

    Get one good question

Iris reflects back what you shared and asks a single, gentle question. No lectures, no lists of advice.

  3. Step 3

    Notice what keeps coming up

Over time Iris picks up on patterns and remembers the people and goals in your life, so you never start from zero.

Questions

Is Iris a therapist?

No. Iris is an AI journaling companion for self-reflection. It isn’t therapy, a medical service or a crisis line.

How is Iris different from ChatGPT?

Iris is built for one thing: helping you reflect. Instead of a wall of advice it asks one question at a time, it remembers the people and goals in your life from one conversation to the next, you can talk to it out loud, and what you share is never used to train AI.

Is Iris a real person?

No. Iris is an AI. It can make mistakes, so trust your own judgment about what it says.

Is my journal used to train AI?

No. Every request to the AI models behind Iris is sent with training disallowed, and our analytics never include what you write or say.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Settings → Delete account removes your account and everything in it: conversations, voice transcripts, memories and setup answers. You can also delete single remembered facts or turn Memory off.

Can I talk instead of typing?

Yes. Start a voice conversation and talk with Iris out loud in real time, or dictate an entry. Voice comes with a subscription.

How much does Iris cost?

Iris is free to start, no card needed. A monthly or yearly subscription adds voice conversations and much more room to talk. Prices depend on your country and are shown in the app.

What languages does Iris speak?

The app is in English, and Iris replies in the language you write or speak.

Who is Iris for?

Adults who replay the day in their head and want a calmer way to sort through it, whether or not they have ever kept a journal.
